The Humbird – a Historic Hotel Bar & Grill cordially invites all to our Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting featuring a Celebration of Rick Halvorson’s 30th Year Anniversary of his Guinness World Record!
In cooperation with the Clark County Economic Development & Tourism Bureau and the Town of Mentor (Humbird), we are excited to officially open our doors to all aspects of our property to the community.
A timeline of the day’s events will soon follow, but will include the following:
-A Meet & Greet with Rick Halvorson as he shares stories and experiences about his time as an international competitive lumberjack.
-Guided tours of the hotel
-A feast fit for a lumberjack featuring Pulled Pork, Baked Beans, Corn Bread and Cake!
-Lumberjack games in our garden! Inflatable axe throwing for kids and Hammerschlagen for adults!
-Surprises and more!
